I have a guilty secret.
I love learning.
Doesn’t sound like a bad thing does it, but honestly it’s a bit of a problem.
I find it seriously hard to pass-up on any free learning opportunities, and I CANNOT miss a webinar I think might be useful to me.
All this adds up to information overload and super-serious procrastination.
Because besides a deep love of learning, there’s a subconscious force driving my hunger for knowledge.
Learning feels productive, but without actually having to do any work. No need to put myself out there. No need to draw attention to myself. I can just sit at my desk watching online videos and webinar recordings all day long.
There, I said it, and I feel much better now.
May I present you with….

Many of the lessons are free, but there are also premium lessons from gurus like Seth Godin. If you want to access a premium lesson you need to join the monthly subscription service, or you can pay a one-off fee for the lesson.
If you love to teach and have a skill to share with the world (see how they chose the name), you should check this out as a potential income source.
There’s a whole section on entrepreneurship*, or you can use the search function to find particular topics.
Owned by The Open University, FutureLearn offers free courses provided by universities from around the world. Lessons are delivered on a weekly basis. You don’t need to attend them live, they are all pre-recorded, but it does mean the pace of learning is dictated by the course provider.
There’s a Business and Management category, but once you’re on site do take a look around. Not all learning has to be for profit, there’s plenty of interesting courses to enjoy just for fun.
3. Digital Business Academy
I loved this platform so much I visited the team’s offices in London and recorded a video testimonial for them.
These free video courses are aimed at entrepreneurs developing an online / digital product, but there’s a lot of useful stuff in there for the rest of us too. Courses 5, 6 and 7 are especially useful for developing your online marketing plan and learning more about digital marketing techniques.
